Carnival Time!

A little taste of New Orleans in our very own community! Marti Gras was celebrated here with all the trimmings including our version of the "King Cake" which was just deliciooooooussssss. Our kitchen staff really out did themselves with the food and the desert. Our dining room was just full of music and fun.
Residents Bea Goldman and Ruth Murtaugh ready to enjoy the food and the music, we had a CD with all of Bourbon Street Best Hits.
Residents that have been there mention that all that was needed was the drinks and the flashing. Everyone had great comments on the food.

Residents Neva and Roland Brendsel were anxious to taste their "Paprika Fish with dirty rice. They were asking if it was called dirty rice because the chef didn't wash his hands we all had a great laugh on that and then it was mentioned to the chef after explaining it was called dirty rice because of it's appearance.
Guess Who? Servers Gloria and Rachel in all their spirit. They look awesome!

King Cake prepared by Sous Chef Mary Rodriguez and everyone agreed it was just amazing. This cakes were stuffed with cream cheese, cherry pie filling, raisins cinnamon, brown sugar, walnuts and pecans.

OUR NEW ORLEANS FEAST WAS JUST AMAZING AND DELICIOUS NO OTHER WORDS CAN DESCRIBE IT.
