Honor

 

 

 

November 8 was a day to remember in our community we celebrated all the "Veterans" in our building. We were joined by the American Legion and they conducted a folding of the flag and presented the colors. In the afternoon we unveiled the "Veterans Wall of Honor".

Gentlemen from the Pharr American Legion who came into our building to preform our ceremony. We also recognized and honor Veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan.

It was a beautiful ceremony which brought back some memories and stories.

 

The tables were set to honor our guests but we were able to bring our residents and everyone was able to share their stories.

 

This was when we revealed our very own "Wall of Honor" this was an event for our residents and it was very emotive. This was followed by an ice cream social.

 

Thanks to all the Veterans and their families for their sacrifice. We really appreciate everything you have done.
