Trip to Quinta Mazatlan
Today we took a trip to Quinta Mazatlan, one of the oldest houses in Mcallen. This house was built by Jason Matthews and his wife Marcia in 1935. Quinta Mazatlan is now the Mcallen wing of the Wordl Birding Center, offering nature trails and water features. Residents really enjoyed the tails of tropical and native trees, floweres and plants. Then we all went inside to cool off and enjoy a tour of the amazing structure.
